Small Group Classes are offered for the SAT, GRE, ACT, PSAT, SSAT or HSPT. All are similar to the one described below.

SAT Prep Classes --

Insight Tutoring proudly offers a comprehensive
SAT preparatory course in a dynamic, small-group learning environment. All classes are taught by David Freeling, an instructor with eleven years of professional SAT teaching and tutoring experience. Students will learn unique and effective strategies for raising their scores. Class size is limited to five students, in order to provide an intimate yet interactive learning environment.

Course Overview: Lessons cover all aspects of the exam, from the most common math problem types to the Top 14 Writing Errors to important time-saving strategies. Students will learn critical reading skills, math tips and shortcuts, and essay writing techniques. Students receive individual feedback on their essays and projected SAT scores at the beginning and end of the course.

The course materials include Insight Tutoring's new SAT Workbook, which contains 120 pages of strategies on topics like Simplifying Sentence Completions, Math Toolbox, The Four Paragraph Essay, Estimation and Elimination, and Dave’s Lexicon - Creative Ways To Learn Words.
For practice tests, the course uses the College
Board’s Official SAT Study Guide, which is the only
class material not provided by Insight but is readily
available at major bookstores or online through the
College Board website.

Course Fee: The fee for the class is around $385, which includes instructional time and all Insight Tutoring original materials. Exact class fees and structures vary and depend on total number of hours and number of students enrolled.

Format and Schedule: A sample course format might be 8 lessons, lasting an hour and a forty five minutes each, meeting once per week.
